2 small restaurants are also on the beach - Rays Place and Anna's - which is currently for sale.

Like many Bahia Concepción campsites, fishermen and vegetable vendors seem to drive by daily. Even water vendors.

We have met and made some great friends here. Had a wonderful Christmas 2003 with some new friends from California.

(Don Teeter from Battle Ground Washington writes: Santispac is the nicer beach. We were there 4 years ago and several times before that. The only draw back would be the number of long term people.

This can work for you as it tends to make a place more popular but one can also enjoy the benefits that Santispac has to offer, like pit toilets and a RV dump and two places to eat. It is just a short small boat run to areas that are outstanding for scallops.)

Directions: South of Mulege on Highway 1 until you reach KM 113.5. Signed. Carefully watch the steep curb and drive East towards the entrance.
