This place is situated on a hill overlooking the river and palm forest. It is close to the town and the mission but you need a vehicle to get you there.

Rice and Beans resembles and is the parking lot to the adjacent motel and restaurant. The spaces are very open sites all with full hook ups in great condition.

The food at the restaurant is great especially the Mexican Plate. We would recommend the place for its cleanliness, friendly informative owner and good food.

If you have an opportunity to talk to the owner, Ricardo Manuel Romo Cota, take the time. He was born in the area and has seen many changes to his community.

Rooms are $50 with AC. Has CNN, HBO and Mexican channels. Visa, MC & Travelers Checks.

Tours to Whale watch and cave paintings arranged from here.
