Formerly a very beautiful camp on the beach. Great surfing waves. Our kids were happy here playing in the water - running around the beach with our dog or fishing. The recreation pavilion was attached to the restaurant/bar and has ping pong tables and things to do for everyone in the evening. A definite destination campsite.

But San Pedrito was hit particularly hard during the hurricane in September 2001 and again in 2003. We visited but our beloved camp was so ruined by the water from the hurricane that it was impossible to camp. Services were destroyed and the facilities are battered. They were working very hard when we were there - cleaning the debris and repairing various buildings with large crews of workers. It is not clear whether this will ever be an RV park again though and word is that it will just service tents.

Directions: Highway 1 from Todos Santo to Cabo. @ KM 59 turn West for less than 3 kms down a poor dirt/sand graded road. Look out for deep sand.
