In La Peņita this year,  George is hoping to deliver some needed things to the small two classroom school of Jcruz Guarvado located on the outskirts of La Peņita it serves over 70 students from grades one to six.  They are in need of ceiling fans in both classrooms and a basketball hoop to match the one that they currently have.  Also they desperately need at least one more computer as they now have only one computer to service the entire school.   If you can help with any of these items please see George at the Hotel California.

POLITICAL CORRECTNESS
Hola,
I loved your editorial about political correctness. Did you know that the term "Political Correctness" originated with from the camps that Stalin used to re-educate those that disagreed with him. One of the reasons that I love Mexico is because of the freedom that you feel. It might not be the political freedom that we enjoy in Canada or the US, but there is more of the day to day freedom to do what you want to do. That might not make much sense, but I do enjoy having a beer on the beach and a cigarette (without having to go outside) after dinner. I was in Hawaii a couple of days ago and they won't even let you smoke on your hotel balcony!

I heartily and loudly concur with the EDITOR!!! IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT HERE THE WAY IT IS LEAVE!!! WE DON'T WANT YOU , THE MEXICANS DON'T WANT YOU AND PROBABLY YOUR MOTHER DOESN'T WANT YOU.
It is absolutely imperative that you with different "preferences" or "view points" learn the most important behavior characteristic of all TOLERANCE.
If you don't "like" the way things are done by others don't do it your self that is the limit of your rights. If you don't "like" the way things are here then  LEAVE.  That is your right, you don't have to endure these "travesties" you can leave but YOU MAY NOT FORCE THE REST OF US TO DO THINGS YOUR WAY!  That is called fascism or communism.
Adios from Bernie

Dear Editor,
You go girl! Hats off to you for today's editorial! My husband once smoked a cigarette outside a real estate office here in Los Barriles. A Turtle Chik came up to him and asked him to put it out. He just looked at her in shock and said, "I did NOT move to Mexico to hear those words. I am outside. Go inside or go away!" Your newspaper rocks in my opinion! You capture the best of the expatriate experience because you all are working for your community, promoting local businesses, being kind and having a blast. I'm can't wait to meet you!

Please, please, please, do not change how and what you are reporting. We LOVE the Express just the way it is.
If people don't like it they can just stop reading it.
I love having a good laugh and seeing all the goings on in the area. Can't wait to get there and meet everyone and join in on all the fun and charitable events.
