Captain's Day in Guayabitos

It was Captain's day in Guayabitos and Jesus and I took a free ride thanks to Captain Freddie for the great tour and wonderful hospitality.

Mateja's Customer Appreciation Day May 3

Mateja cooked up a storm for some of her favorite customers who patronize her restaurant and bar – often well beyond the season. Regulars showed up after 2 at the popular beachside location and were treated to Snitzel, goulash and other favorites from Mateja’s youth. “I was born in Yugoslavia” said Mateja and this is the cooking I remember from my youth.”

The food was superb and Erik Nice played guitar favorites throughout the afternoon for the appreciated crowd.
