This is one of the
best RV Parks in Mexico. It is one if not the most active parks in terms of
events and activities. Everyone is made to feel welcome and there are a lot of
parties! The park has been filling up since the Thacker's started managing the
place 3 years ago. If you want to stay in the prime winter months it is
imperative that you write to reserve a spot. They try to always put you up for a
night or two but word is out about this hide-away on the hill. Everyone seems to
want to stay here. When they stay for a night - it ends up a month. When they
stay a month - they want to stay a season.......
Now you can get
detailed driving directions from the USA/Mexico border right to

This is a great campsite to spend an entire winter. Nestled on the Pacific Coast
North of Puerto Vallarta, La Peņita boasts good weather and lots of fun.
You can use the beach or swimming pool. Play cards. Fish. Go boating. Called
the "Friendliest RV Park in Mexico" by the many returnee snowbirds, La
Piņata's
success is a credit to the regulars that make this place home and the management
that ensures they feel this way.
The Thacker's are a Canadian Couple from British Columbia that make the
annual trek down the coast to manage this spot. It is a going concern with lots
of act ivies and interaction between the campers. There is lots of room to move
around and the facilities are excellent.
Directions: Highway 200 between
KM 91-92 between Tepic and
Rincon de Guayabitos.
