Photography by Bill Bell

Santiago Tuxtla is a city in the Mexican state of Veracruz. It serves as the municipal seat for the surrounding municipality of the same name.

The city of Santiago Tuxtla straddles the Río Tuxla, and touristically offers many 19th century structures, a museum with artifacts dating to the Olmecs, the nearby archaeological site and museum of Tres Zapotes, and several modern hotels.
